Software Update: Foobar2000 0.8.2

A few days after the beta version, the final version 0.8.2 of Foobar2000 was released. This audio player has no unnecessary fuss on board and can handle the common audio formats including aac, mp3, Ogg Vorbis, wav and wma. The functionality of this player can be expanded using plugins† The changelog informs us of the following changes:

  • random bug fixes/tweaks
  • made masstagger “input values” not ignore empty lines
  • made component list sorted
  • added “reverse” in sort commands
  • fixed inaccurate output length in resampler DSP
  • updated monkeyaudio library to 3.99
  • average bitrate in multi-item info box
  • added “overwrite all” in diskwriter
  • added “remove empty directories” in masstagger
  • playlist tabs now wrap
