Spread the love

It has been more than a year since the last version of Exact Audio Copy was released. However, Andre Wiethoff was busy writing his graduate thesis. Fortunately, he found some time again and version 0.95 beta 1 has now become available. EAC is a very advanced audio extraction program for the Windows platform. Modern reading techniques are used to apply error detection and correction when reading audio CDs, thus offering high quality guarantees compared to other programs. In this new version, stability has been greatly improved and several new features have been added, including the ability to burn CDs. More information can be found in the News.rtf document in the download. The full changelog looks like this:

What’s new in version 0.95 beta 1

  • Wave editor and native interface stability improved
  • Many bug fixes (Eg extraction engine crashes, CDDB problems, compression queue)
  • Added interface for CDRDAO for CD writing
  • Inserting all tracknames from Clipboard using Ctrl+Shift+V
