Software Update: Emsisoft Anti-Malware / Internet Security 11.5.0.6191

Emsisoft has released an update for version 11 of Anti-Malware and Internet Security. Anti-Malware protects against viruses and malware, while Internet Security also has a firewall on board. A license for Anti-Malware costs four tens and for Internet Security that is five. The programs are suitable for Windows 7 or higher and can be tested for 30 days. After those thirty days, the programs switch to free mode, which can scan and uninstall, but offers no real-time protection. In this update, which requires a computer restart, the following changes and improvements have been made:

• Emsisoft Security Center startup speed and UI responsiveness.

Fix:

• Fileguard executes the recommended action without any alert in Game mode.
• Occasional “Range check” error.
• Crash after ‘Scan computer’ initiated from tray icon.
• Issue where IP address ranges were not blocked in Emsisoft Internet Security.
• Occasional issue where application rules could not be deleted in Emsisoft Internet Security.
• Issue with not updated Surf protection hosts/risks actions after a settings import.
