Software Update: DVD Plus Identifier 2.1

Spread the love

Anyone who has always wanted to know where his DVDs came from, and whether the difference between that expensive branded disc and its unbranded alternative is really that big, should play with DVD Plus Identifier. The program extracts a lot of information about any DVD+R(W) from the ADIP information contained on the disc. The software reached version 2.1 yesterday, which includes the following changes:

  • Fixed the problem of always reporting the ‘Disc Type’ as DVD+R.
  • The ‘Unique disc identifier’ has been extended so that it now also includes the ‘Disc type’.
  • Several layout improvements : Cleaned up the copy-to-clipboard information and the ‘Unique Disc Identifier’ is now displayed more prominently.

[break]The new release can be picked up on the website of the program.
