Drupal has released version 7.28. Drupal is a user-friendly and powerful content management platform written in PHP, with which, for example, websites can be created. Since version 7.0 there is a redesigned interface, which would be simpler and more intuitive. Additional fields, users, terms, URLs, images, lists of options and more can be added to content. An automatic test has also been added to the framework to detect bugs in the code. Finally, the database layer has been completely rewritten, which solves many of the database layer limitations in Drupal 6. The release notes for this release can be found below.

Drupal 7.28 released

Drupal 7.28, a maintenance release with numerous bug fixes (no security fixes) is now available for download. see the Drupal 7.28 release notes for a full listing.

Upgrade your existing Drupal 7 sites is recommended. There are no major new features in this release. For more information about the Drupal 7.x release series, consult the Drupal 7.0 release announcement.

Changes made to the Update Manager module in this release may lead to performance slowdowns in certain cases (including on rare page loads for site visitors, if the site is using the automated cron feature). see the release notes for more information.
