Software update: DisplayFusion 7.3.1

Spread the love

Binary Fortress Software has released version 7.3.1 of DisplayFusion. With this program it is possible to manage a multimonitor setup. For example, a separate background or screensaver can be set per screen and programs can be opened on a screen to be determined by the user. A license costs about 13 euros, or 18 euros for all computers in a household. There is also a free version, but of course it has less possibilities. More information about DisplayFusion is on this page. The changelog for this release looks like this:

Change:

  • Added a desktop context menu entry for pausing/resuming wallpaper changes
  • Added an Advanced Setting to disable the loading screens
  • Added an Advanced Setting to disable the TitleBar Button tooltips

Fix:

  • Pinned items now launch correctly
  • Auto-hidden Taskbar should no longer appear behind desktop windows
  • Opening a new Chrome window on some machines no longer results in a blank window
  • Resolved some errors around Steam key loading
  • Resolved some issues that prevented trial license keys from being properly created on some machines
  • Windows 10 compatibility improvements
  • Start Menu replacement compatibility improvements (Start8, Start10, Classic Shell…etc)
  • Taskbar compatibility improvements
  • TitleBar Button compatibility improvements

Note:

  • On some multi-dpi configurations using monitor splits you may have an 8px gap on the left edge of some maximized windows, this is due to a Windows 10 bug
  • Some pinned Metro (Universal) Apps may need to be re-pinned to the DisplayFusion Taskbars to work correctly
