Software Update: Darktable 2.2.5

Darktable has released version 2.2.5 of the open source raw photo editing program of the same name. Darktable is a virtual light box and darkroom for photo editing. It manages digital negatives through a database. The raw photo files are developed by means of so-called sidecar files, where the photos are processed in a non-destructive manner. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

New features:

  • When appending EXIF ​​data to an exported image, do not fail if reading of EXIF ​​from the original file fails
  • Support XYZ as proofing profile
  • Clear DerivedFrom from XMP before writing it
  • bauhaus: when using soft bounds, keep slider step constant
