Disc-soft has released a new version of Daemon Tools Pro. With this program it is possible to mount image files from CDs or DVDs as a virtual drive. By creating multiple virtual drives, it is not necessary to keep changing the CD or DVD. Moreover, in this way there is less trouble from background noise and the data is generally faster accessible. The Pro version is available in the flavors standard and advanced. The latter has more possibilities, including being able to create virtual ide drives. In addition to the Pro version, there is also a free Lite version, but it has not yet been updated. The main change in this release is full support for Windows 7. The full changelog looks like this:
