Software Update: CrystalDiskInfo 8.6.2

Crystal Dew World has released a new version of CrystalDiskInfo. This program, which is under the MIT License is released provides comprehensive information about the drives in the computer. There is support for traditional hard drives, but also for SSDs and to a lesser extent for external USB and Firewire drives. In addition to displaying smartinformation, it is possible to aam– and apmsettings, if the hardware supports it. The collected information can be displayed in clear graphs. In addition to the standard version, there are also the Shizuku and Kurei Kei versions. These offer no extra features, but contain an anime theme. In version 8.6.2, support for RAIDXpert2 has been improved, among other things.

Changes in version 8.6.2:

• Improved AMD RAIDXpert2 support
  If you make RAID array with NVMe drives with AMD RAIDXpert2 Ver.9.2.0.x, CrystalDiskInfo may cause BSoD.
  So, CrystalDiskInfo 8.6.2 checks version of AMD RAIDXpert2. If it is Ver. 9.2.0.x, CrystalDiskInfo does not access RAID array.
