Software Update: CloneCD v2.6.1.1

Sh@rkByte brought us the link to the new version of CloneCD. The update can no longer be called weekly, but it is still available Elaborate Bytes to take down.

There aren’t too many updates, but you can check if they are useful for you below:

New features:

Added CloneCD NT Kernel Mode Driver. It is now possible to use CloneCD if you are not Administrator in Windows NT/2000.

Made CloneCD.vxd more system friendly (Windows 95/98 only)

Numerous performance and stability improvements

Improved Installer & Uninstaller

Some cosmetic changes

Compatibility fixes and improvements:

Fixed system crash, if CeQuadrat CD-Rom Emulator is installed (Windows 95/98 only)

Bug fixes:

Hopefully fixed all outstanding severe problems (hangs, crashes)
