Spread the love

The Central Brain Identifier program can display extensive information about the beating heart of your PC, if it is equipped with an AMD processor. In addition, a number of tweaks can also be made to the L1 cache and the Clock Control Register. Version 7.2.0.0 build 0615 was recently released with expanded support for the AMD Opteron platform. The release notes look like this:

The first public version of CBId 7.20 has been released! It uses a new advanced identification algorithm of AMD Opteron processors. The Opteron ID Database has been enhanced with the CG-core based processors and with low power models of the AMD Opteron HE and EE. Now it is possible to determine the Thermal Design, Thermal Power and Segment of all AMD64 server processors. Thanks to NDA sources CBId now properly identifies Paris, Dublin, Dublin (LP) and Odessa (LP) cores. Moreover, CBId determines a hidden value of Stop Grant Reconnection Latency for the K7 family processors. The current version identifies support to NX Technology and SSE3 instructions by the AMD64 processors.
