Software update: Caliber 2.45
Version 2.45 of Caliber has been released. In the past there was a new release every week on Friday, nowadays it is less frequent and this time there was even a month in between. Caliber is an open source and cross platform ebook management program. Among other things, it can look up all relevant information and cover images, and convert e-books to make them suitable for the various types of e-readers. Furthermore, the program can convert newspapers, magazines and news articles based on RSS feeds into e-book format. Books can also be purchased with Caliber at the well-known web stores. Since version 2.42, the following changes and improvements have been made:

- Cover browser: Allow customizing the text that appears under the covers with a template in Preferences->Look & Feel->Cover browser
- When sending books without a cover to the device, generate a cover with book metadata instead of using the blank book icon
