Software Update: BWMeter 3.3.0

DeskSoft released version 3.3.0 of BWMeter today. With this program the data traffic to and from the computer or on the network can be monitored. Not special in itself, but BWMeter can also analyze the data packets. This way it can see where they come from, where they are going and what protocol they are using. Furthermore, the program can distinguish between local and internet traffic and it is possible to use filters to, for example, monitor or limit data traffic to and from certain internet pages. Below are all the changes BWMeter has undergone since the previous entry in the junk tracker:

Changes in version 3.3.0:

• New: the “About” dialog contains links to open the program folder and the data folder. Useful for backing up the configuration, moving the program to another computer, etc.
• Fix: various small improvements and bug fixes

Changes in version 3.2.4:

• Fix: problem with window colors not remembered correctly after restart
