Software Update: Dead Pixel Tester 2.30

Data Product Services recently released version 2.30 of Dead Pixel Tester. With this program, as the name suggests, so-called dead pixels in LCD screens or pixels that are ‘stuck’ can be easily detected. This version has been specially released to celebrate the half million downloads so far and in addition to a digital signature, it also contains new test patterns and the screens should now feel better. I’ve done a minor upgrade to DPT to celebrate the 500,000+ downloads! The screens have been changed slightly to try and make them more intuitive. We’ve also added some new test patterns (Although this is DPT it also has a wide variety of test patterns for checking color and contrast as well). I’ve also changed the gradient test screens to draw separately on each screen attached. (Addition : I’ve also code signed this now)[break]
