Software update: Battery Eater Pro 2.0

BatteryEater Pro 2.0 is developed by the folks at X-Bit Labs and test laptop battery life. The program can subject the laptop computer to a stressed and idle benchmark, and by comparing the two results it becomes clear what the maximum and minimum battery life is. BEPro 2.0 is available from here be pulled down and has a size of 701 kilobytes. Unfortunately, it is not known what the changes are for this release, but the developers have left the following description:

Battery Eater is a testing tool intended to reveal the potential of a notebook battery pack. Battery Eater can measure the minimum operation time of a notebook under conditions close to the maximum workload.
