Software Update: AVG Free Edition 6.0 Build 538

Users of the free AVG anti-virus program can get a brand new update for their software from Grisoft. The program reached build 538 of version 6.0. There is no real changelog, but we do find the following message:

AVG 6.0 now supports smaller update files! The capability to support smaller updates has been introduced in update version 516. Going forward, all AVG 6.0 updates will be differential updates from version 516. For this reason, all AVG 6.0 systems must be updated to version 516. In order to perform any AVG 6.0 update to a version higher than 516, it will be necessary to have previously performed update 516.
