Software Update: AkelPad 4.3.0

Akelpad has been updated to version 4.3.0. The download of this small and fast open source text editor is just over 200KB, but despite that, the program has an extensive range of features. It can be used as a replacement for the Notepad supplied with Windows, but can also be used for programming. Through plugins add additional functionality, including syntax highlighting, auto-completion, scripts, and macros. Below you will find all the changes that have been made to the program since version 4.2.3, the previous entry in the Meuktracker:

Added:

• Internal Alt+NumPad processing.
• Support for UTF-16 surrogate pairs.
• 4430 command – paste text after caret.
• Support for text Drag’n’Drop containing NULL symbol (between AkelEdit windows).
• Print preview.
• Possibility to set line-to-line spacing.
• Possibility to set word wrap delimiters.
• Messages for printing in AkelEdit.
• Possibility to print only specified page or range of pages.
• 4113 command – silent printing.

• Correctly open/save UTF-8 text containing surrogate pairs.
• Hyperlink, located at line start, didn’t highlighted in 4.2.5.
• Word wrap updating after text margings change.
