Software Update: Adobe Flash Player 27.0.0.187

Adobe has released an update for version 27 of Flash Player. This browser plug-in makes it possible to play Flash content, including so-called rich Internet applications and streaming audio and video. Flash Player is baked into Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge; for other browsers it will have to be installed separately. The use has been on the decline for a while in favor of html5 and more and more browsers require an extra mouse click to still play Flash content. In this interim version, some errors and security issues remedied.

• LoadMovie on layers other than 0 causes access violation in C# WinForms (FP-4198533).
• Flash Player quits unexpectedly before the content is loaded in certain cases.
