Adium X is an IM client for MacOS X that is based on Gaim and therefore can connect to the networks of AIM, Gadu-Gadu, Jabber, MSN, Napster, Novell Netwise, Trepia and Yahoo. The development team just released a new version that has 0.75.1 as the version number. The release notes and changelog look like this:

Adium 0.75.1 is now available for download. It finally squashes one of our oldest crashes related to retrieving passwords stored securely in the Apple Keychain, and brings the usual collection of other bug fixes and improvements.

  • Fixed an issue with Command-I performing Show Contact’s Info instead of Italics in message windows in certain situations
  • Improved connection speed, particularly on AIM accounts with long buddy lists
  • Updated to libgaim 1.1.2
