Actual Tools has released an update for version 8.1 of Actual Multiple Monitors. This program is intended for people who work with more than one monitor. Thus, it can put a taskbar and start button on every screen. Windows 8 used Classic Shell for this, but should no longer be included, although it still works fine with it. Actual Multiple Monitors can further create a background that spans all screens and adds buttons to move programs to another screen or open them across screens. The program can be tried for 30 days and a license costs $ 24.95. Version 8.1.1 includes a handful of bug fixes.
Important
- Sometimes running programs might crash after unloading Actual Multiple Monitors.
Fixed errors
- Some kinds of windows stopped working correctly when extended by Actual Multiple Monitors (in particular, windows of the Investor/RT app).
- Actual Taskbar might stop responding after clicking an icon in the notification area.
- World of Tanks game client stopped responding after applying the Ignore Deactivation action.
- Activating/deactivating a windowed Modern (Metro) app produced the “screen flip” animation if the “Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing” system option was enabled.
- In some cases, active window might lose the focus when mouse hovered over the desktop if the “Activate on Mouse Hover” feature was active.
- Some kinds of windows might not fit the Desktop Divider tiles in Aero visual themes.
