Software Update: AbiWord 2.2.6

The open source word processor Abiword has been updated to version 2.2.6. The greatest strength of this program is its compatibility with the most diverse text file formats. In addition, the program runs on many different operating systems. The changes in this version mainly consist of bug fixes. Below is an overview of the most important:

The changes from 2.2.5 to 2.2.6 include, amongst others:

• Import TextBoxes from MS Word (finally!)
• Fix various crashers relating to table editing, footnotes/endnotes editing, etc
• A huge list of MacOSX specific fixes and changes (you rock Francis!)
