Software Update: 7-Zip 3.10

7-Zip is a program that allows you to compress and decompress files, it is developed by the same person as the compression method 7z. The program supports files compressed with the following methods: 7z, zip, cab, rar, arj, gzip, bzip2, tar, cpio, rpm and deb. Version 3.10 was recently released and has the following changelog:

• Drag-and-Drop from external application
• GUI version (7zG.exe) can compress files with absolute paths
• Compression dialog doesn’t suggest bzip2 and gzip2 types when there are more than one selected files
• Optional auto renaming for existing files during extraction in command line version (-aot switch)
• Some bugs were fixed
