Samsung mentions the Music Frame speaker a ‘adaptable speaker’ that is compatible with SmartThings. The speakers can function as wireless speakers via WiFi or Bluetooth, or be connected to a Samsung television or sound bar for surround sound. The Music Frame speaker has two woofers, two tweeters and two drivers for the mid-range, etc writes Engadget. According to Samsung, the speaker is suitable for Dolby Atmos audio.

At the front there is a front panel with a work of art on it. Users can replace that front panel with other prints themselves. According to Samsung, the Music Frame speaker can display ‘art or photos’. The speaker contains a thin cable for power supply, but is otherwise wireless.

The speaker is reminiscent of the Symfonisk painting speaker from Sonos and IKEA. The speaker also has the shape of a painting and can be provided with different prints. Samsung does not say how expensive the Music Frame speaker will be. The South Korean tech giant also does not share a concrete release date.
