JBL announces Live TWS 3 earbuds Buds, Beam and Flex with touchscreen case

JBL is now bringing the Smart Charging Case, which was introduced in the JBL Tour Pro 2, to the JBL Live TWS 3 series. This series consists of the Buds, Beam and Flex. This allows the new wireless earbuds to be operated via the 1.45″ touchscreen on the charging case.

Via the touchscreen, users can control music, receive messages and calls and change certain settings of the wireless earbuds. The charging cases are identical on the outside for the three models, but the earplugs do differ in shape. The Flex earplugs have a traditional stem design. The Beam earplugs contain silicone tips and also have a stem. In addition, there are the Buds, which have a more compact design, without a stem at the bottom.

The JBL Live TWS 3 earplugs also feature adaptive noise cancellation and can provide personalized sound after performing an ear canal test via JBL’s Headphones app. The wireless earbuds will support Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy with a future update, which should improve battery life.

The Buds, Beam and Flex models from the JBL Live TWS 3 series will all be available from June this year and have a suggested retail price of 200 euros. The wireless earbuds will be available in blue, purple, silver and black color options. They also have an IP55 certification for moisture and dust resistance.
