Rumor: Realme GT Neo 3 may come in versions with 80W and 150W fast charging

The Realme GT Neo 3, due to be announced later this year, is said to come in two variants, according to leaked information: one with support for 80W fast charging and one with 150W fast charging. The 80W version should be cheaper and have a larger battery.

XDA Developers writes that based on leaked information. Realme said at the MWC in Barcelona in February that the GT Neo 3 will feature 150W fast charging, which the company calls 150W UltraDart. XDA Developers now states that the company will also announce an 80W version later this year, which will have a larger battery and will be slightly cheaper than the premium model with 150W charger. This would also explain why two model numbers can be found at the Chinese approval authority Tenaa, model numbers RMX3560 and RMX3562, writes XDA.

Not much has been confirmed about the GT Neo 3, the successor to the Realme GT 2, which was recently announced. Some things have already leaked out. For example, the phone would be equipped with a 6.7 “amoled screen, a 2.85 GHz chipset, up to 512 GB storage and 5G support. The model with model number RMX3562 would be equipped with a MediaTek MT6895 soc, XDA writes. renders already show that the Realme GT Neo 3 will be equipped with a triple camera island.
