Youtuber RedGamingTech claims that Microsoft wants to introduce its next generation of Xbox consoles in 2026. That console would contain a Zen5 CPU and an RDNA5 GPU. The American company would like to provide an answer to the probable introduction of the PlayStation 5 Pro.

RedGamingTech believes in his YouTube video that Microsoft has significantly changed the roadmap for the Xbox, because the company wants to be able to respond to the introduction of Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro. According to game journalist Jeff Grubb, that console will be launched in September 2024. According to the YouTuber, Microsoft is currently not working on a Pro version of its consoles, but is aiming for the introduction of a completely new generation of Xbox consoles.

The American company is also said to have plans to launch a streaming device. That device will use xCloud and, according to the YouTuber, can be offered as a budget option for customers who are not interested in purchasing the next generation of Xbox consoles.
