Microsoft would soon offer a subscription to US users to buy an Xbox console on a monthly installment, in combination with Xbox Live and an Xbox Game Pass.

Microsoft would like to announce the subscription later this month, Windows Central reports based on its own sources. Xbox All Access will only launch in the United States, a reason Microsoft didn’t announce the new service at Gamescom, which takes place this week in Cologne, Germany.

Users would have to pay $22 per month for an Xbox One S, Xbox Live, and Xbox Game Pass. That’s slightly cheaper than the full price Microsoft charges for those services and the console. In combination with an Xbox One X, the subscription would cost $35 per month. The subscription runs for two years. After that, customers paid off the console.

With this step, the manufacturer wants to make its Game Pass more attractive and to bind customers to it for the longer term. In addition, players can have an Xbox without having to pay hundreds of dollars right away. Microsoft has not yet responded to the rumor.

Xbox All Access Per month Price per two years Price services for two years + console
Xbox One S 22 dollars $528 $588
Xbox One X 35 dollars 840 dollars $858
