Rumor: Huawei is working on 13″ and 15″ laptops

Huawei is reportedly planning to release two laptops with Windows: a 13-inch and a 15-inch version. The laptops should be on the market next year and Foxconn would start producing them.

Huawei announced its first 2-in-1 with Windows 10 in February this year, the MateBook. The manufacturer would not be satisfied with that sale, but nevertheless wants to expand into the laptop market with a 13″ and 15″ model, claim several Chinese sites.

The Chinese manufacturer would thus follow in the footsteps of Xiaomi. This competitor in the smartphone market expanded into the laptop market last year with the Notebook Air models.

The Matebook is a Windows 10 tablet with keyboard. The device has a 12″ screen of the IPS LCD type with a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels. The processor is a Core m chip from Intel.
