AMD may be working on the Ryzen 5 5600X3D for the AM4 socket. According to the leaked specifications, this processor has six cores, twelve threads, 96MB of L3 cache and a maximum base/boost clock speed of 3.3/4.4GHz.

Chi11eddog, who previously leaked correct information several times, shows on Twitter an Excel spreadsheet showing specifications of the Ryzen 5600X3D. The CPU will reportedly have the model number 100-00001176 and will probably be the cheapest processor with 3D V-Cache. This was the Ryzen 7 5800X3D with eight cores, released last year.

According to the document, the latter also has four extra threads and clock speeds that are 100Mhz higher than the 5600X3D, but the L3 cache is the same size on both CPUs. The L2 cache is reportedly 3MB for the 5600x3D, which is 1MB less than the cache on the eight-core variant. The price, release date and further specifications of the Ryzen 5 5600X with 3D V-Cache are not yet known.
