Renders have appeared of the upcoming smartphone Nokia 6.3 or 6.4 from the Finnish HMD Global. The renders show that the phone has a fingerprint scanner in the power button, instead of on the back.

The renders are based on drawings from the factory, reports OnLeaks, which she put online. According to the drawings, the phone measures almost 16.5×7.7cm, making it slightly larger than an average smartphone today. The phone is around 9.2mm thick and the camera protrudes 0.9mm. The screen would have a diagonal of 6.45″, but the screen ratio and resolution are unknown.

HMD has this phone as a successor to the Nokia 6.2, which has been available since September 2019. The 6 series is a series of cheaper midrange telephones from HMD Global and the suggested retail prices of those models are always around 250 euros. OnLeaks mentions that the new phone will be called Nokia 6.3 or 6.4.

The phone also has an Assistant button on the left side and has a 3.5mm audio jack. OnLeaks says that HMD Global wants to present the phone within three months, but when exactly is not yet clear. HMD always presented many new models at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, but last year that fair was canceled due to the corona pandemic. This year the fair will take place at the end of June and not, as usual, at the end of February.
