Razer has released 15.6 “versions of his thin Blade gamelaptop, all equipped with an Intel Core i7-8750H hexacore, the gpu is a GTX 1060 or 1070, both in economical Max-Q version. The laptop is available with a full-HD 144Hz screen.
For the cooling uses Razer from a vapor chamber design and two fans, a large piece of copper covers both the gpu and cpu and is connected to two cooling blocks, over which the warm air is blown out of the laptops. Razer provides all versions of the Intel Core i7-8750H, a hexacore with HyperThreadi ng and a speed of 2.2GHz, with a turbo speed of 4,1GHz. There is 16GB of ram available and that can be expanded. The SSDs are nvme copies with a capacity of 256GB or 512GB.
The cheapest model gets an ips-panel with a refresh rate of 60Hz, more expensive versions have a full-hd-panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Also that are ips-panels and all these versions have a matte finish. Razer also makes a variant with a 4k touchscreen with a 60Hz panel.
The laptops include an Intel Wireless-AC 9260 Wi-Fi module with Bluetooth 5.0 support. On the outside there is a Thunderbolt 3 connection and furthermore Razer puts a mini-displayport 1.4 connection on the laptops. That port offers enough bandwidth for 4k playback at 120Hz and that’s more than what is possible via Thunderbolt 3. All versions have an 80Wh battery and are supplied with a 200W power adapter.
Razer releases five different configurations, which differ in gpu, screen and storage space. The 4k-panel model will only be available in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and Germany for the time being
