Razer Blade Pro 17 gets 300Hz panel and new Intel processors

Razer is releasing new configurations of its Blade Pro 17 gaming laptop. Versions with a full-HD panel get a refresh rate of 300Hz, which was 240Hz. Razer also uses the latest Intel Core H CPUs and Nvidia RTX GPUs.

The housing of the renewed Razer Blade Pro 17 is the same as that of the predecessor, but the internal components have been modified. For example, Razer now uses the Intel Core i7-10875H, an octacore with a turbo speed of up to 5.1GHz. There is a choice of an RTX 2070 or RTX 2080 Super video card, in both cases that is a Max-Q version.

The 17.3″ gaming laptop is available with a panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 300Hz. That IPS panel has a maximum brightness of 300cd/m2 and displays 100 percent of the sRGB color space. Razer also supplies a variant with a 4k IPS panel, which has a refresh rate of 120Hz, a brightness of 400cd/m2 and can fully display the Adobe RGB color space.

The game laptops contain 16GB ddr4 and that can be upgraded to a maximum of 64GB. For storage, NVME SSDs are used with a minimum of 512GB and a maximum of 2TB. The housing has USB-C and A ports, a 2.5Gbit Ethernet port and an HDMI 2.0 connection. The laptop also has an SD card reader.

The built-in webcam has a 720p resolution and support for Windows Hello. Razer puts a 70.5Wh battery in the laptop and supplies a 230W adapter. The housing has dimensions of 395x260x19.9mm and the weight is 2.75kg. The renewed Razer Blade Pro 17 has a starting price of 2900 euros and will be released ‘soon’ in Europe.
