Pokémon Let's Go announced

Spread the love

The future looks good for Pokémon fans. There will be a new Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch this year, on November 16th. True to tradition, there will again be two versions: Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu, and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee.

The names betray it already: the developers looked at what Pokémon Go (made by another company) has all brought about. And that is reflected in the way you capture Pokémon in Let’s Go. The battles have been replaced by throwing a Pokeball, which looks almost the same as how it works in Pokémon Go, but here you make a throwing movement with one of the Joycon. The fights with other trainers still seem to be the familiar turn-based fights.
There will also be a special accessory, the Poké Ball Plus, which should be a kind of icon in the form of a pokéball, for extra realism if you want to catch a pokémon. The game revolves around the first generation of pokémon, and Pikachu and Eevee will play a central role. You can also transfer pokémon from Let’s Go on the Switch to Pokémon Go on your mobile, and vice versa. Pokémon Let’s Go will be released on the Nintendo Switch on November 16th.

More Pokémon

In addition to Let’s Go, another Pokémon game has been announced. Pokémon Quest is a free-to-start game that is now available on Switch and comes to iOS and Android in June.

Finally, there was also the announcement that there is still a core RPG in development, and that it should appear on the Switch in 2019. Enough Pokémon games so the coming time.
