Photos have surfaced of what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The photos show the lock screen and the front and back of the device. The photos seem to confirm previously released renders of the as yet unannounced phone.

in the pictures, published via twitterer Slashleaks, the Note 8 can be seen live for the first time. Earlier, Evan Blass, also known as Evleaks, put product renders online of the Note 8. The device in the newly published photos corresponds to these renders.

The photos show, among other things, the screen of Samsung’s upcoming phone. This is the same Always On lock screen that can be found on the Samsung Galaxy S8. For example, there is an on-screen home button that is always present, even if the screen is turned off.

Samsung will most likely announce the phone on August 23. The Galaxy Note 8 will probably be equipped with the Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835-soc and will have a 6.3″ screen with a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels. The device has a dual camera on the back, which can also be seen on the pictures.
