Payday developer is working on new Dungeons & Dragons co-op game

Starbreeze Entertainment, the developer of the Payday games, will develop a live service co-op game based on the Dungeons & Dragons game world. The game is scheduled for release in 2026.

According to the developer This is a co-op multiplayer game. The game would receive ‘a lifelong commitment’ from the developer. The game is known within the company as Project Baxter and is being developed with the Unreal Engine 5. It is not yet clear on which platforms the game will be available.
