OPPO has presented the Find N3 Flip folding phone in China. The phone has, among other things, a camera with a telephoto lens and an alert slider to distinguish itself from other foldable phones.

The phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, MediaTek’s counterpart to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from Qualcomm. OPPO adds 12GB Lpddr5x memory and 256 or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The Find N3 Flip has a 3.26″ screen on the outside with a resolution of around 720×383 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16.8:9. On the inside there is a 6.8″ OLED screen with 2520×1080 pixels. The foldable screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 21:9. On the right side there is an alert slider, like OnePlus phones, which allows you to set the phone to silent, vibrate or make sound.

The phone has three Hasselblad-branded cameras: a primary camera, one with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a camera with a telephoto lens with around 2x magnification. The camera with telephoto lens is not on other foldable smartphones, because the focal length makes phones thicker.

At 85.5×75.6×16.5mm, the Find N3 Flip is relatively large for a folding phone. The thickness in particular is slightly greater than comparable models. The Find N3 Flip weighs 198g. The phone will cost 6,799 yuan when released next month, currently equivalent to around 850 euros. In Europe that would be around 1000 euros or slightly higher. Predecessor Find N2 Flip was released earlier this year in various European countries, but not in the Benelux. That phone cost 1099 euros. OPPO is once again promising a release in more countries, but the manufacturer does not want to say when, where and at what price.
