Murena will release /e/OS version of Fairphone 5 at the end of September

The developer of the Google-less /e/OS has released a variant of the Fairphone 5. It works with European providers from release.

Murena Fairphone 5 with /e/

Murena wants to deliver the phone at the end of September, is on the site. It is a Fairphone 5 that already has the custom ROM /e/OS out of the box instead of the Fairphone version of Android. That ROM focuses on privacy and removes everything from Google from Android. Murena already had its own version of the Fairphone 4. The Murena version costs 776 euros, compared to 699 euros for the regular version of the phone.

The developer worked with Fairphone on the rapid release of the Fairphone 5 with /e/OS. In addition to the adapted telephones, Murena also has its own model since last year: the Murena One. The Murena Two should be added this year. Fairphone announced the Fairphone 5 on Wednesday.
