‘Nothing Phone (2a) seen in leaked images’

The upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) may have surfaced in leaked images. The photos show that the device contains a punchhole for the front camera. The design of the back of the device is hidden in the photos by a case.

The device is expected to be equipped with lighting on the back, just like the Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2). There are also two camera cutouts on the back seen in the leaked photos. It may involve a 50-megapixel main camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera with the same number of megapixels, writes GSMArena.

The smartphone manufacturer announced the midrange device at the beginning of this month. The specifications of the Phone (2a) have not yet been announced, but it is known that the device does not have the best hardware. The unveiling of the smartphone is expected to take place during the Mobile World Congress to be held in the Spanish city of Barcelona at the end of February.

The Nothing Phone (2a) will reportedly have a 6.7″ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. latest rumors also point out the presence of the Dimensity 7200 SoC from MediaTek, paired with 8 or 12GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage. The device would have a suggested retail price of around 400 euros.

Nothing was founded in 2020 by Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus. The company focuses on wireless earbuds and Android phones. Last year, Nothing launched the Ear (2) earbuds and the Phone (2). There is now also a sub-brand, CMF, that produces cheaper products.
