Nintendo has announced an additional multiplayer pack for the Switch version of Luigi’s Mansion 3. The pack consists of two DLC parts, which will be released in April and July respectively, and includes six new mini-games, additional costumes and other types of ghosts.
The Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer DLC Pack 1 will be released on April 30, 2020. It includes three new minigames for the Luigi vs Gooigi multiplayer mode, according to Nintendo. There are also three new costumes for Luigi and some new ghosts for the Tumulttoren cooperative mode. Gamers who purchase the DLC will receive a Polterpup lamp as a bonus. This is a Type-P Flashlight that can be used in both story mode and the Tumult Tower.
On July 31, 2020, Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer DLC Pack 2 will be released. This part also includes three new minigames for Luigi against Gooigi, three costumes and some new ghosts.
The complete Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack can be pre-ordered since Wednesday in Nintendo’s eShop on Nintendo Switch. The price is 9.99 euros. It is not possible to purchase DLC Pack 1 and DLC Pack 2 separately.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 for the Switch also houses a multiplayer mode called Scarescraper. In Scarescraper, up to eight people must progress through procedurally generated levels. This can be done locally through co-op or through online multiplayer.
