Apple has presented an iPad Pro with 10.5 “screen. The screen also has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, compared to 60 Hz of previous tablets. The refresh rate is also dynamic, which saves the battery.

The screen of the 10.5″ tablet can reach up to 600 nits and has support for HDR. The bezels of the iPad Pro with 10.5″ screen are 40 percent smaller than those of the variant with 9.7″ screen, so the case is about the same size. According to Apple, the size is better for a full-size onscreen keyboard. Despite the small bezels, the tablet has a Home button with fingerprint scanner. There were rumors that it would be gone.

The soc is an A10X, with six processor cores. This involves three cores for performance and three for energy efficiency. Apple remained on the plain about exact details, but claimed that the GPU performs up to 40 percent better compared to the A9X soc.

The iPad Pro with 10.5 “screen gets the same cameras as the iPhone 7. In addition, Apple announces support for USB 3.0, making it possible, among other things, to charge the tablet faster.

The tablets come with iOS 10. iOS 11 will be released this fall with a new interface for multitasking, drag and drop for images and text, and a wider dock with more options and a space where iOS predicts which apps the user may want to use. Also, with a swipe up, the dock will always be available. Apple is also adding a file manager for iPads.

In addition, there will be a Markup app for Apple Pencil. It allows users to annotate screenshots for sharing or save annotated Internet pages as PDF. There is a document scanner to straighten the text with photos of documents.

The iPad Pro with 12.9″ screen will receive an update with the new parts. Both tablets will be released next week. The cheapest version costs $ 649 and has 64 GB of storage. The most expensive variants have 512 GB of storage.
