Developer Ubisoft Massive will release the game in the fall of this year. The company said this during its Forward event. It is a mobile spin-off of The Division, which will be called The Division Resurgence. It will be available for mobile platforms.

Like the full versions, The Division Resurgence is set in New York. According to Ubisoft, the game is a mix between a standalone game in which players have to complete missions and an online game in which they can play together with friends. The game will be free to play, but it is not known what the paid elements of the game will be.
