MMD comes with 27″ Philips monitors with fhd resolution and FreeSync for 189 euros

MMD announces the Philips E9 series of monitors. From March there will be three 27″ models for sale, all of which support FreeSync and are equipped with an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.

The panel of the three 27″ monitors in the Philips E9 series has a refresh rate of 60Hz, a maximum brightness of 250cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The gray-to-gray response time is 5ms and according to MMD the panel can handle 93 percent. of the NTSC color space or 124 percent of the sRGB color space.

In the announcement, MMD speaks of the Phillips 276E9QSB, 276E9QDSB and 276E9QJAB. The three models have the same appearance with thin screen edges and a silver-colored base. The JAB model has built-in speakers, the other models differ in connection.

For the time being, MMD will release the three 27″ variants in March, the manufacturer mentions one suggested retail price of 189 euros. Later, more models will come in the Philips E9 series: a 23.8″ model should be available from May, followed by a 21.5″ variant in July. These screens also have a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.

MMD also offers three curved models. This concerns two 31.5″ models, a full HD variant and a version with 2560×1440 pixels. The third model is a curved 27″ monitor with full HD resolution. The curved models should appear in May, but a price has not yet been announced.
