The Microsoft 365 apps Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are now available on Meta Quest VR glasses. The apps can be downloaded from the Quest Store. It is possible to connect a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and use them in the apps.

On Meta’s VR glasses, users can get started with a kind of web version of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, discovered AndroidCentral. A Microsoft account is required to use the Microsoft 365 apps on a Quest headset. The apps are available on all Meta VR glasses, from the first Quest to the Quest Pro and Quest 3. The Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps each take up around 1.3MB of storage space.

Earlier this week, Microsoft made the Xbox Game Pass app available on the Quest platform. This allows subscribers of the game service to work with ‘hundreds of games’ in virtual reality. A Bluetooth controller is required. The app is available for the Quest 3, -2 and -Pro. The arrival of Microsoft 365 apps on the Quest platform has been known for some time.
