The addition has been made available for Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels for version 11.2306.30.0 of the Microsoft Paint application. By pressing the new button on the left of the toolbar, users can automatically remove the background from an image. It is also possible to select a specific part of the image with the selection tool, after which the background can be removed from only that part.
