There are more than 15 million Xbox Game Pass subscribers, Microsoft reports. Six months ago, the counter stood at 10 million users. That means that Microsoft’s game subscription service has experienced significant growth this year.

Microsoft announced the number of more than 15 million subscribers in the announcement of the $ 7.5 billion acquisition of Bethesda. Since Microsoft is making all of its own games available through Game Pass for Xbox and Windows, most likely all new games from Bethesda’s stable will also be part of the subscriptions. This includes games from franchies such as The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake. It is not known whether the existing games from these game series will also be part of the Game Pass. In any case, all the necessary Bethesda games are and were part of the Game Pass.

At the end of April, it turned out during the presentation of the then Microsoft quarterly figures that there were ten million Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The current number of more than fifteen million means that five million subscribers have been added in about six months. This subscription service for games has been in existence since summer 2017.

With the service, members get access to a selection of over a hundred Xbox games for $ 10 per month. For 13 euros per month there is the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate variant, which also includes the Xbox Live subscription to play online. The Game Pass subscription for PC is now out of the beta phase, which means that this subscription no longer costs 4 but 10 euros per month. This price increase came after Microsoft recently announced that EA Play will be integrated with the Game Pass subscription for PC.
