Microsoft announces State of Decay 3 for Xbox Series X and Windows 10

State of Decay 3 was announced at Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase. The game is out for the upcoming Xbox Series X and PC. Microsoft has not yet announced a specific release date for the game.

The trailer shows a woman camping alone in a snowy forest, but does not contain any gameplay footage. A release date has also not yet been announced. It is clear that the game will be available on the upcoming next-gen consoles from Microsoft and the company is also coming with a PC version. The horror game will be part of the Xbox Game Pass immediately upon release, Microsoft reports.

The first State of Decay game was released in 2013; a sequel followed in 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10. State of Decay 2 also appeared on Steam earlier this year; before that, the PC version of the game was only available in the Windows Store.
