Lian Li shows new full tower case PC-V2130

Lian Li has unveiled a new atx full tower. The PC-V2130 is the successor of the PC-V2120 and is completely made of aluminum. The Taiwanese company’s large housing should be available sometime in the coming months.

At first glance, the PC-V2130 closely resembles its predecessor, the popular PC-V2120, which became available in 2011. It’s still a huge full-tower with brushed aluminum finish, vertical striped front panel and underside wheels. The housing is available in silver, black or black exterior with silver interior.

The model measures 237x640x625mm and weighs 9.8 kg. There is room for four 5.25″ drives, eight 3.5″ HDDs and four 2.5″ storage media, with an additional three items that can be accommodated via a tray. The chassis can also accommodate xl-atx, accommodate atx and micro-atx boards as well as video cards with a maximum length of 360mm, or 480mm if trays are removed, and power supplies that are 200mm long.The height of the CPU cooler can be up to 180mm and there is also support for water cooling with a size of up to 280mm.

There are also two 140mm fans for the intake, a duo of 140mm variants at the bottom and a 120mm fan for the exhaust at the rear. The case also offers tool-less storage media changes and PCI hardware mounting, there is a controller for the fans on the front and the surfaces are covered with material that dampens the noise. It is not yet known what the PC-V2130 will cost and the introduction date is still unknown, although the latter will be on the agenda somewhere in the coming months.
