LG presents candle-like speaker with LED strip

LG has presented a portable speaker that should resemble a candle and that should emit light by means of LEDs. The speaker with a power of three watts is part of a series of three speakers that the manufacturer presents at IFA.

The LEDs can be in five different modes to create atmosphere in various circumstances, although LG does not say what modes those are exactly. The speaker wraps around, so users can always hear the sound, according to LG. LG has also added its Bass Boost feature. The battery should last ten hours on a single charge.

All three speakers also have aux ports to connect devices without Bluetooth to the portable speakers. The PH2 is a smaller, round model with a power of 2.5 watts and a battery life of six hours. With sixteen watts, the PH4 is the speaker with the highest power of the three. The housing of that speaker is also waterproof.

LG does not mention recommended prices for the speakers, which will be on the market this fall. The manufacturer only mentions a release in the United States and nothing is known about the release of the speakers in Europe.
