Lenovo releases 13″ Android tablet that can also be used as an external screen

Lenovo presents the Yoga Tab 13, an Android tablet with Snapdragon 870-soc and a 13″ screen with a resolution of 2160×1350 pixels. The tablet has a Micro-HDMI connection and can also serve as an external screen for a laptop, for example. .

Lenovo ships a Micro-HDMI to USB-C cable with the Yoga Tab 13, allowing the tablet to be connected to laptops or systems that support USB-C screen display. The tablet also features a built-in kickstand in the form of a bracket, so that the tablet can be placed upright.

Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 as external display

The Yoga Tab 13 runs on Android 11 and is equipped with a Snapdragon 870-soc and 8GB Lpddr5 memory. There are four speakers built-in and three microphones. The battery has a capacity of 10,000 mAh and the whole weighs 830 grams.

Lenovo also introduces the Yoga Tab 11, a cheaper 11″ tablet with also a built-in kickstand. This model cannot be used as an external screen. The Yoga Tab 11 has a MediaTek soc and 4GB or 8GB Lpddr4 memory.

According to Lenovo, the Yoga Tab 13 will be available from June for a suggested retail price of 799 euros. The Yoga Tab 11 will follow in July for 349 euros. Lenovo announces the tablets in the context of the Mobile World Congress. The telecom fair will take place this week.

Lenovo is also introducing three regular form factor Android tablets. That’s the Tab P11 Plus, which has similar specs to the Yoga Tab 11. The Lenovo Tab M7 and Tab M8 are cheaper models with lower specs, with 7″ and 8″ screens and resolutions of 1204×600 pixels and 12800×800 pixels. The Tab P11 Plus will be released in July for 299 euros, the Tab M8 will be released in September for 159 euros and the Tab M7 will be available this month from 119 euros, according to Lenovo.
