Lenovo provides Yoga 9i laptops with leather and touchpad with haptic feedback
Lenovo introduces high-end laptops in the Yoga 9i series. There will be 14 “versions as a laptop and convertible and a 15.6” convertible. The 14 “variants get an optional real leather cover. All models get a touchpad with haptic feedback.
Lenovo provides the Yoga Slim 9i laptop and the Yoga 9i convertible with Intel Tiger Lake processors with integrated Xe GPU. Intel officially announces those CPUs on Tuesday, Lenovo does not yet announce which CPUs exactly are in it. In the larger 15.6 “version of the Yoga 9i covertible, Lenovo uses Intel Comet Lake-H processors, up to the Core i9-HK models. There is also a GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q in the large version.

The 14 “models of the laptop and the convertible are available with a real leather finish. In those variants the top of the laptop has a layer of leather. The Yogas are also available in a full metal version.
The part that users rest their palms on during use is made of glass. The touchpad in the middle does not physically click in, but can provide haptic feedback. Apple has been applying this to its MacBooks for years. Lenovo calls it a Smart Sensor Touchpad. Lenovo also provides the laptops with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i laptop is 13.9mm thin and weighs 1.26kg. The 14 “touchscreen has a maximum 4k resolution and DisplayHDR 400 certification. The screen can display 90 percent of the dci-p3 color space and has a maximum brightness of 500cd / m². Versions will also be available with a full HD screen. The thin laptop will be released from November for a price starting at EUR 1,899.
The Yoga 9i convertible also has a 4k screen with the same characteristics. The 2-in-1 is slightly heavier at 1.37kg. The 15.6 “version of the convertible weighs 2 kg. Both versions will be available from October, the 14” version with leather costs from 1799 euros and the metal 15.6 “version has a starting price of 1999 euros.
